Those are what is known as LBM's, little brown mushrooms, which are any of a hundred kinds that require deeper identification, IE a spore print and looking at the gills and cap shape, and identifying them with a good mushroom book.

There are plenty of deadly LBM's out there so be careful. Also think about the odds....

good luck!

personally I think they are paneaolinas...but they could also be paneaolus...try a spore print...brown for paneaolinas...black..to purple black for panns...cheers

RIP Matt, your friendship and your contributions to the world of fungi will be missed. Unfortunately we never got to hunt together.

Hello again. These mushrooms weren?t ingested. I am sorry if these are ordinary mushrooms and I wasted anyones time; I?m new at this, and these appeared quite similar to the mushrooms I saw online listed as P. Subbalteatus. I am in the process of taking a spore print, and will show the results tomorrow. Here is the best picture I could get of the gills.

Those are Panaeolina foenisecii and are not psychoatie. eating a shroom because it looks similar can kill you. have someone professional identify your shrooms before you gobble them down.

Thanks angryshroom and mjshroomer. I didn't plan on eating them just because they appear similar..I'm not stupid. I posted pictures on here because I have seen alot of posts in which members here identify mushrooms that other members picked. I know the dangers that mushrooms can possess and don't plan to eat any without being 100% sure of the species. I took a spore print, and it turned out brown. They are most likely panaeolinas.
