Psilocybe Cyanescens found in Seattle, WA (PICS)

Today DethHed and I went on a little hunt in Seattle, Washington.  It has been raining off and on for about the last week.  We went to three spots.  The first two were pretty dead, but we did find a few shrooms at the third spot. 

Here are the pics...

Many thanks to DethHed and cardboard for showing me the ropes.

Also a bit of advice for newbie hunters in the Puget Sound region...

Stick to the woodchips.  I spent way too much time earlier this season hunting in grassy areas when I should have been looking for lightly colored woodchips.  Now that I know the habitat to look for, they should be much easier to find.

dang, I was just in Seattle....will be there again for Thanksgiving....wish I knew the spots!!  If you or cardboard want to go picking, I can probably provide some herbal accesories :smile:

YEA! very nice pictures stymee!! Those are some robust specimens, i am very proud you got those. Now that you have seeen you should be able to go out rallying the fruits all day long. hehe.

Nice find.... 
my trip last weekend to Seattle, I suppose was jus bad timing
    - an all day hunt with only 7 mushies (thanks to the keen eye of Dethhead)
 

Today I had a morning scout of Bellingham searching for cyans...visited quite a few spots and scanned for alderwood mulch.

  result...
    couple baby cyans were found, left them to mature.
  At least I  found my first patch in Bellingham  :smile:
