Hi folks -

I live in SE Asia. While I know cubies grow around here, I?ve not come across any. I am, however, seeing a lot of this kind in the pastures.
I reckon they?re nothing special, but I honestly wouldn?t know anything other than a cubie.

More info:

It grows on water buffalo & cow shit
The gills are brown-ish
caps are generally 1/2" = 3/4" across, whitish to tan colored
stems are around 3-4 inches in length & hollow
spore prints appear purplish to black
they don?t bruise

Awesome pics, but no bluing huh. Could it be Psilocybe Coprophila ? You are on the other side of the world, but it sure does look like it.

Your mushrooms are undoubtedly Panaeolus antillarum.

They contain no psychoactive chemicals.
They can be eaten and are catagorized as "edible",
-But they are not typically eaten, because they are not very tastey.

Antillarum's grow directly from the manure of cows, horses, and probably buffalo and elephant dungs also.

They do not stain blue and do not contain the psychoactive stuff.

If you are interested in learning what Shrooms grow in your area,
Go to the Shroomery's grow/find section at the main page,
Go to the finding mushroom's section,
Then click on the paper for the world-wide distribution of psychotropical mushrooms,
South-east Asia is a broad generalization when it comes to Shrooms.
Thailand, Cambodia & Viet-Nam are Shroomy places,
China is a wasteland, with no Shrooms to be found...
