wtf...my internet explorer is f'in up

How do I uninstall Internet Explorer on windows vista"basic"?
I went to find the program and all possible programs that could be uninstalled but I cant find it for shit.
What do I do?
Basically everytime I go to a website and get about 2 or 3 pages into it my IE messes up,it locks and the hour glass comes up and I cant do anything but right click and try and close it,or alt-f-4 it.Then after nothing,it pops up and ask to end the task or to restart the program(end it now)or whatever...
anyways whats wrong with my shit people?
I went to a question/answer forum for troubleshooting(IE) and they said when this happens u need to uninstall IE and reinstall it and itll be fine.

Drop internet exploder and get a real browser, FireFox is really good.  Really, you cant 'uninstall' IE, it is an integral part of windows, and without it, you lose much stability, you can make it look like its uninstalled, by going to add/remove programs, clicking on the add/remove windows components tab, then unchecking IE and clicking apply.  But after this, you will not see IE anywhere, but click on the 'microsoft update' icon in your start menu, and guess what, up comes IE.

int he end, install firefox, add/remove the windows component of IE, and never go back, unless you need to update, which it is necessary to use on microsofts site.

Like everyone else has said, your problem is that you're still using Internet Explorer. Ditch that crap and get Firefox.

no really, as everyone said, including me previously.

firefox is FAST. click and it loads right away, no wait (depends on ur net too)

i was hesitant about changing my browser too cause i was happy with IE for the longest time, but the first page i opened with firefox made me never turn back, it loaded in like 0.1 seconds, and is even cooler and easier to use and customize than IE.

plus they constantly reupdate it and its plugins so your not getting hacked or downloading stuff ur not knowledgeable of and shit.

I just need to download foxfire and use it and dont even worry about doing anything with IE right?????????The reason Im asking,and I know yall said to get rid of IE,is b/c it wont let me uninstall IE.
