You must be able to cross your eyes to do this.
1) get a fairly small image, nothing too complicated, and set it as your desktop wallpaper, make sure to tile it
2) stare at it and slowly cross your eyes untill two adjacent images overlap
3) try to bring the overlaped image into focus and your crossed eyes will stick, it wont feel like you crossing them anymore.
have fun!

Then one day "Oh shit! I cant un-cross my eyes! HELP!"......
Better off pressing on your closed eye lids, it puts pressure on the optical nerve(if thats what it does) and makes you see stuff. But this can also hurt your eyes so dont do it much!
Better yet dont try to hallucinate without a drug! Fd

This is why you use a small image, so you dont have to cross them that much. Plus crossing your eyes isnt bad for you unless your really straining.
MOM: dont cross your eyes, they will stick FD: Ok mommy!!!!!

Best way to get visuals without drugs is this......... 1) Take off your glasses if you have any....
2) Take one finger, fold the others over and hold arm out straight...
3) Quickly turn hand and poke yourself in the fuckin eye until visuals appear...
Takes time but practice does make perfect, if you fail try the other eye.....that`s why there is two.....

I actually just tried it with the small monkey picture off someone's avatar. It worked pretty well and it looked like my whole screen was in crazy 3d. I could also hold it for as long as i wanted without having to re-focus my eyes.

What's happening is this: Each eye is seeing the pattern, and you adjust your eyes to view it each from a different angle, two different sections of the same pattern overlap. When the overlap is right on, it appears as if you are looking at the same part of the pattern (the same square in a checkerboard pattern, for example) through different eyes, but in reality, each eye is looking at a different section of the pattern. When the images line up, your brain is fooled into thinking that you are looking at the same part of the pattern at a different distance than you actually are, because your brain determines distance by the subtle differences between the angles at which your two eyes see the image. The weird hallucinatory feeling comes from holding a piece of paper that you know is two feet away, but you perceive as being 18 inches away.
This is the same principle that makes Magic Eye picture work; certain parts of the picture look further away because your brain is being fooled, creating the illusion of relief. It works with any repeated pattern; wallpapers, chain-link fences, etc. It's just an optical illusion, not a hallucination.
It isn't dangerous (unlike poking your eyeball with your finger until you see colors) but it tends to give people a headache.

That's what I thought the first time I saw it, but a couple of months later I tried it and it looked more like a rasta! Maybe I've had too many drugs in that 2 months
