dmt exaggerated?

smoked some dmt today, i made my own little pipe, anyway i loaded about the size of a large pea into the bulb and hit it, didn't get much smoke out of it, then hit it 3 more times finally coughed and it felt like the spit in my throat was really gooey and balled up, its never felt like that before, i took another hit and put the pipe down i figured it was too late to gain any experience from it after 5 hits (when i read 3 is supposed to send u to hyperspace) after a few seconds my bed felt like it was on a river i was getting closer and further away from objects everything was vibrating. but nothing was as strong as i had read about and hear other people experiencing, i never went into another realm of consciousness never saw any entities just vibration and movement. could it be from shitty hits or is dmt just exaggerated by everyone? when can i smoke again to achieve desired effects?

could have been "impotent". Could have been smoked improperly. Could have been a lot of things.
But, as far as I'm concerned, not exaggerated.

First of all, you got extract? Second, the heat, method, and reverse tolerance (possibly? maybe? i cant remember) all affect that too

Also, not to derail, but what's this about taking 2-3 hits to get to hyperspace?  I see it all over, but I dont' get it.  I take a single big rip, hold it in, and I'm so far gone I don't usually recall exhaling.  How do people take 2-3 hits of the stuff? (I can take 80 mg in a single hit pretty easily)

it took me 3 solid hits to really break all the way through, not sure how many mg was smoked in those 3 hits though.  one large hit held in until i felt lightheaded took me way far out but was far from breakthrough

do you take all 80?
or does some of it end up recrystaling back in the pipe


the most powerful and terifiying dmt trips i have had where all from 1 hit

lots o spice will get you gone in one hit if you time it right. vape it slowly


dont hit it to earlt, sending crystals flying all throughout the pipe and into your mouth. and dont burn it. wait till it starts to bubble and vaporise then hit it.keep the flame a reosanable distance away from the bulb


the 3rd hit is more just to put you over the edge

the first hit is your antre

get it right on the first hit and you might not need a second or third, but that dosent mean you shouldent take em :wink:

Weird.  Are you smoking through a water-filtered piece?  My experiences are definitely breakthrough, through the looking glass, deep beyond the kaleidoscopic fractal veils, into cosmic spaces (like the houses of hyperdimensional beings)... unmistakeable stuff.

My sub-breakthrough experiences just get to the kaleidoscope fractals but not into that hyperreality.

I probably don't get all 80, but I don't see it recrystallized on the bowl (litte DMT-devoted bubbler)

For sure, I just can't imagine being physically capable of taking more than one.  Like I said, my body isn't around anymore by the time I exhale the first.

Definitely not exaggerated. What color was the DMT that you smoked?

Was it yellow, green, closer to white, a different color?

A couple hours is enough to get your tolerance pretty well down, a day if you want to give it plenty of space.  What sort of setting are you doing it in?

lol i had help when i took 3 hits, no way i could have done it myself especially on my first session.  i used a little 50ml whiskey bottle with a hole drilled in the bottom.  i haven't really experimented with dmt much yet, the first time was full blown hyperspace break through.  the second time was one really large hit, which was probably more mind blowing because i remember the whole thing lol.

i'm waiting around on the third, soon i'm going to conduct some science experiments

Sounds good.  The girlfriend watching bit might add a little weird vibe, but maybe not.  Definitely nice to have her around for when you come back (DMT it feels much more like coming back than coming down).  Some people like to smoke it in silence, but I like having some select music playing... don't know how much it shapes the peak of the trip, but it's nice for when you start to come back... I like the Grateful Dead for it, but that's just my bias.

DMT is not exaggerated.  I agree with encryptomancer i just hold in my hit until im in another fucking dimension.

Just a matter of you took a small dose. That's why you felt little effects from it.

It's a matter of physical capacity. Very rarely will a first time trip provide a mind blowing full on dmt experience. It takes practice and dedication to learn to navigate the spice waters well.

Keep at it, and you will learn the way. It's a very personal voyage. Just you and the spice. It will take you as far as you are willing to go.
