first off, thanx to everyone that has helped me in any way what so ever, even if it was me researching your post from 3 years ago Also i would like to give props to lilshopofspores as they sent me not only the one syringe that i ordered from their website but also a free mexican albino syringe along with it. Great sponsor and received product in a timely manner. But on to the good stuff,
I didn't follow ONE tek per say but more or less created one from what i had read and questions i had asked. I decided to go with WBS over rye bc i would like to do g2g down the road, preferably sooner than later. i believe that with WBS, this will be easier. I purchased everything from a variety of stores, mostly walmart. Bought a nice PC from target, built a tub in tub incubator, a shotgun FC, and a cheap glovebox.
I soaked my WBS for 12 hours, rinsed until clear (picking out the cracked corn), and then simmered for 30 minutes. Produced kind of a funky smell, water was greenish color from soaking. Simmering seemed to have gone well. I let the WBS strain for rougly 2 hours or so, i was following the teks that said 30 minutes but it seemed to wet and clumpy still.

I loaded the WBS into my jars, each having a 1/2" GE hole and a 3/8" innoc hole. I wiped down the lip of the quart jars with an alcohol rag, put down the metal lid, the tyvek over that, and then screwed the lid on until it started to grab. I put 2 pieces of aluminum foil folded in half over the top to prevent moisture from getting in, and PC'd my jars for 1.5 hrs. i figured the extra time might increase sterility.
quart jar loaded with tyvek (dot for innoc hole makes things easy )
PC all loaded up! 7 quarts
 PC at 15PSI
about four hrs after shutting the heat off to the PC i put on my gloves and mask, threw a Cubbies hat on backwards , rubbed my arms and hands down with 70% alc and opened the pressure cooker (i sprayed some lysol also). i took the jars out, one at a time, and shook them up to break up the clumpy seed, putting them back in the PC when i finished. there was no water pooling so i was happy to see that. i was worried at first tho because the seed was extremely clumpy but during innoc it turned out great
roughly 5 hours after shaking the jars, the PC was cool to the touch and i began to clean throughly the area in which i would be working. i have a bathroom that has two sinks which is separated from the toilet and bathtub. i washed my glovebox and TIT with antibaterial soap, hand dried with a freshly washed towel, and wiped it completely down with 70% alcohol. i then wiped down the entire sink area (including the mirrors just in case) and set everything up ahead of time. i sprayed lysol like mad and closed the door and hopped in the shower. After i was finished showering i threw my scrubs on, put my mask and gloves on, and walked into the sink area (my girlfriend brought in the PC with the sterile jars when i shut off the water ) i knocked up all 7 jars, 4 with Mexican Albino, and 3 with Cambodian, sterilizing the needle, wiping with a alc rag, and shaking the needle in between jars. i taped up the hole created from innoc with the sticky part cut off from a bandaid (which is a pain in the ass w/gloves on btw!) i labeled the jars and shook them around outside of the still air box a little to spread the myc, and much to my suprise there was absolutely no clumping. i believe my water content was perfect.
my bathroom and glovebox plus all sterility necessities
They are now sitting in my closet in my TIT around 80F. i will wait roughly 5 days before checking for growth and hopefully i am contam free (knock on wood ). i will be directly casing the jars of Mex Albino, and spawning the cambodian to coir. Both will eventually be cased with 50/50 peat verm. I am doing this mostly because i am still learning and am not entirely sure about the spawning stuff.
it is day 4 and I officially have myc growth!!! super stoked, no contams, 6/7 jars. oddly enough the Mexican Albino seems to be colonizing faster than my Cambodian. I purchased cambodian so that it would colonize faster and only 2/3 jars have growth. my 4/4 jars that are Mex Albino seem to be growing quite well and also evenly dispersed so i believe colonization will fill out quickly. i will be posting pics as soon as my gf gets home and i can figure out how to use her camera lol. i want to just make sure, from the experts of course, that there are no contams and i can only pray for the best
so here they are!! i took a lot so i could show u guys the good ones, not a LOT of growth but you can def see the start of things!! here ya go!! please comment and thanks to everyone that made this possible, especially BigBlackBoxX!!

no contams that i see!! ; )
i just went out and purchased my lighting today and also realized i need more room so i bought shelves. i purchased a 15watt CFL light and used a garage light cage thing to hang from the shelves for lighting. i set up my timer and made sure it was working today, 12/12...from 10 to 10.
my shelves and lighting
top: TiT middle: still air box w/ supplies inside bottom: empty FC (this changed as i found out its BAD to have a FC near the carpet!)
My current setup is as follows: Top - TiT Middle - FC (holds two big lasagna trays) Bottom - still air box w/ supplies
i also purchased coco coir for down the road and a HUGE ass bag of perlite from my local hydroponics store. i will be setting up my FC soon in preperation for when my jars are fully colonized.
i did purchase some pH testers while i was there in preperation for casing, which i had heard will provide more contam free flushes as long as the pH is balanced properly. i will need to do more research to find out what this level should be at
i checked my jars today and its time to shake! 3 jars are kind of just getting started so i will not shake them yet.
here are all of my pics
 jars 1 and 2
 jars 3 and 4
 jars 5 and 6
 jar 7 (just started growth)
jars 1-4 are my Mexican Albino and jars 5-7 are my Cambodian Jars 1, 3, and 4 were overdue for a shake, jar 2 was perfect, the others need more time.
Discovered some metabolites and grain pressed up against the jar that could have been mistaken for contamination.
here are some pics:
first pic with concentrated growth (middle bottom)
 yellow subtle growth (middle top)
more on the update, i shook jars 1, 2, 3, and 4 and they all seem very well colonized, i will post pics soon. Jars 5, 6, and 7 i shook just two days ago, and their growth is coming along nice and even. i suspect those will be done soon also.
My jars are not fully colonized except for the cambos, they will need just a few more days to 100% colonization.
 jars 1 and 2
 jars 3 and 4
 jars 5 and 6
 jar 7
as you can see jars 5, 6, and 7 are coming along nicely after my shake two days ago!! i hope they will be ready soon. Jars 1, 2, 3, and 4 have looked pretty similar to how they look now for a few days but are now almost COMPLETELY white for the most part. I will start counting the 3-4 days and case these as soon as possible.
I cased my Mex Albinos straight, without spawning. This again, was to help give me practice for my bulk grows soon to come. I cased with 50/50+ and it turned out great. Here are some pin porn pics

I developed an area of green mold on my casing already decided the best action to take was to pour some salt on it and get at least one flush. In the mean time i started g2g transfers (here's a before and after):

and also started my spawn run. I used coir/coffee/gypsum and used about a 1:2 ratio. Non of my measurements at this point were near exact.
My mushrooms are coming along nice and im hoping the mean green doesn't come back too soon, i would really like to get at least one harvest for my first grow ever They are coming along nicely though and as you can see, my pinset was fairly nice!

My spawn run finished with no contams! and i cased it last night. Here is a pic, its a might big tray(11x13x3.5 i believe)

I can't wait to see this tray fruit.
Harvested about 150g wet off of my Mex Albino tray and the Cambo bulk tray is rdy to go into the FC. It shouldn't be too long before i see pins.
Day 6 of fruiting conditions and i have pins. Got some sweet pics too!

Not overall impressed with the pinset but i had some issues with the casing, didn't go quite as smooth as i expected. None the less, great mushrooms! I just finished up my second Cambo bulk spawn run and cased it last night. The casing went much better this time around and im hoping for a much better pinset.
MUSHROOMS!!! My girlfriend is a freelance photographer and she took some amazing pics!
They are coming along great! and huge! Much bigger than casing straight WBS! Ill never go back!
Harvested my first flush...drum roll please lol...337.9g wet! Im super stoked. I searched around and decided to perform a dunk. Just poured some water inside the tray for about 5 hours and then dumped it out trying to get rid of all the water possible so no standing water existed. Hopefully this increases the size of my next flush. My second tray should be getting pins really soon as well
Ok so came back from a trip, (went 2 1/2 days without fanning ) and my second flush had came through as well as a VERY nice pinset for my second tray. My second flush weighed 173.9g wet which is roughly 51% of my first flush. They are in the Nesco right now. I do believe dunking paid off! Here are some pics of my second flush (nothing overly impressive):

and here, my best bulk pinset thus far(lol), are some good pinset pics:

so far, overall, very impressed with my performance. Only 1 true contam(got the black mold ) and the other 2 were due to improper MC of my WBS but hey, ya learn your lesson. I've harvested 511.8g wet so far off just one tray. Cannot wait to see how this second tray produces.
Just started making two prints today. Harvest about two dozen shrooms off my latest casing with the nice pinset. Took some pics before harvest and here's what my matured pinset looks like:

Out of the few i did harvest i got 160g wet so im to a total of 672.6g. Hopefully my third flush will come in on this third tray and tomorrow morning i should have the final result for the first flush of tray 2.
Looks like my third flush might be weak on my first tray of coir. I didn't dunk it this time around only because the substrate didn't seem exhausted. I heavily misted the casing layer as i have heard that doing so is another solution. Only see one pin on it right now but more might pop up in the next few days.
As for my second tray with the more even pinset, just finished harvesting my first flush...368.6g wet, about 30g more than my last tray! No pics, sry. Hopefully this tray keeps producing well as the pinset was much more even. They are in the dehydrator right now, will have dry weight tonight. I will most likely dunk my second tray tonight and hopefully achieve better than 51% weight for my second flush!
