Miracle Grow with Aqua Coir

Just had to share, this stuff works great! For anyone that wants a really simple casing substance. Just make sure you pick out the big sticks and whatnot. Have yet to pick my casings, but they have exploded with pins. Will post pics when I can.

Ok, not that I got any replies, but I feel like posting anyways.

2 Casings were done with miracle grow with aqua coir. Used 3 cakes between the 2, standard pf tek. Used oven meatloaf pans, about 3" by 6". One inch of the MG was put on for the casing, just mixed with plain water. Took about 15 days from casing to fruiting. Currently have around 50 large mushrooms, all averaging around 2-3" and they are still growing. Just a word of advice for all newbs, get a HEPA air filter! They work great and I RARELY get contams. After this experiment with casings I doubt I will ever use cakes again. I didn't have to patch the casing at all, just left it covered in a blanket. Will add pictures ASAP! Oh yeah, they were equadors.

Good Job.
Casings are easier and more productive than cakes IMHO.
I think the shrooms look better too.
