This was a question about making casings smaller and deeper like a flower pot or small bowl... and using more cake than casing. I got my awnser so feel free to 1.flame me 2.take a shroom by rating me a 1...3.give some thoughts on this subject.

My opinion is that flush sizes are proportional to the surface area of your trays. I also feel that the number of possible flushes would be determined by substrate volume.

I would propose that the total yeild will be proportional to the nutrients available (i.e. volume/type of substrate) to the myc... With dung, the yeilds are bigger and so on.  I think that the later flushes might pick up in mass what might have been lost due to a lower surface area to volume ratio.  Thoughts?
