I absolutely love salviaa to fuck.
Helps me many times when i am ineed of summing up my life where it stands.
I am currently trying to extract some of the chem (sal A) by using isopropyl, at the end i get crystals but they stay gooey, Is it possible to rub it on some salvia leafs and then smoke or what?? :confused:

I haven`t been able to locate any info on extraction of the dream herb. I am experimenting tonight to see what i can come up with. :crazy:

Will have results soon.... :grin:

Please feel free to post any form or type of extract which you have performed on any substance.
I feel the first extract post may be this.(Horray!!)

the quick cold acetone extraction method is superior and no, you don't need "reagent grade" acetone to use it. check www.spiritplants.com for complete info. alcohol extractions always leave you with a goo containing much more than just salvinorin. though the cold acetone extract is not PURE, it is one heck of a lot purer than an alcohol extract. and takes much much less time.

but to answer your question: you can smoke it as-is or dissolve it in alcohol, add dry leaf and dry it again. i've found that alcohol extract tends to be harsh as darn. the alcohol extract concentrates stuff besides salvinorin also (chlorophyll, tanins, etc.)

Extracting pure Salvinorin is very dangerous

- not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing and what you are dealing with.

I know dude, same with most extractions. I have made sure not to use too much dried leaf ( 5-10g ).
Concern is much appreciated dude.

Yes! One should not smoke "pure" salvinorin extract especially the acetone extract stuff. It should be applied to a known weight of salvia leaf or other smoking material or dried on blotter paper and used sub-lingually. Most people who do the acetone extract dissolve the resulting crystalline matter in alcohol and then dry it on plain salvia leaf. This makes a cleaner enhanced leaf than the alcohol extract. MUCH cleaner, and therefore easier to smoke and not as bad for you to smoke. To make 5x, you'd extract from 4 parts of leaf and then deposit that on 1 part of leaf. So if you want 5x, you'd extract from 4 grams and deposit the results on 1 gram.

Salvia is the single strongest, most altering substance I have ever encountered. Even small doses can make some people completely black out while their bodies keep doing things. People have walked through glass doors, fallen on their faces, broken furniture, etc. etc. etc. while "out" on salvia. A sitter is highly recommended to hold you if you decide to walk away and/or to talk you down if you can't handle the potentially extreme trip.

I really do love the shit, so funny, never had a full blown WAZZER experience but i think i must be partially immune or somet because even after smoking 5* i still aint visited the salvia place. That is why i am extracting some for myself. I`ve read report which state a total change in surrounding, closest i`ve come is feeling like i was in a different world but no actual visuals. Salvia helps me overcome so many things which would normally get me down or hold me back. :laugh:
