Democratic National Convention

Is anybody else going to be there for this?

I have the week off from school and work and will be down there everyday with a camera in tow.  I'm thinking of setting up some type of blog or something to post pics and stories and whatnot.

Would anybody else be interested in this?

I heard word from some knowledgeable friends that Rage Against the Machine was planning on playing a protest show right across the street from the Pepsi Center.  Which really makes sense as just south of it is a huge parking complex.

Would anybody be interested in reading some shit and seeing some pics of it?  I'm really excited for it as it was exactly 100 years ago that the DNC was held in Denver.

And I live about 10 blocks away from where it's all gonna go down.  :smile:

Shit I would go, even though i don't like politics too much, it would still be interesting to watch.  and if RATM made a 'surprise' appearance, that would be the tits.

I'm 95% sure that all of these massive protest campaigns being set up for the DNC are financed by the Republican party.

I'm sorry, but I find the idea that the Republican party is using a bunch of ignorant anarchists and social malcontents in an attempt to make the DNC look like a group of jack-booted thugs slightly more plausible than thousands of pounds of thermite being placed in the busiest office building in the world with nobody noticing or that Lizard men from Dimension X have infiltrated our government and are harvesting baby humans for food.

Wait...why would RATM protest the DNC?  Maybe they disagree with it's politics...but aren't they pretty socialist themselves?  I would think at the very least they would consider the Democrats the lesser of two evils.
