I'll give you this piece of advice, stick around, lurk a bit, and once you start to get to know people then start asking to meet up with people.  Also, you can find people that like tripping on craigslist and in addition to meeting some cool people, most of them will also blow you in your car.

oh... and anyone want some manure? i work with horses.. so i have tons (literally tons) of horse manure.. i'm about to make a new thread in the cultivation forum.
