I had my last Ipod for 4 years before I accidentally broke the output jack while trying to replace the battery when drunk. I sold it to a friend and he's still using it.

So your theory is pretty much bullshit. Did your mother get raped by Steve Jobs in front of you or something? That's the only thing that could really explain your irrational fear and hatred of Apple products.

I went through 4 1st gen nanos within a year.  They gave me new ones each time because of the warranty but on the last two they wanted me to pay 30$ for them to recycle the battery in them.  My buddy has a few macs for video editing and I watched one fry while I was over there frying myself.  Just not good experience with any Apple product for me
