I wanted to speak my mind, I dunno why anyone would buy an iPod that is programmed to break within 2 years.

Because a) that isn't true I've had my iPod for quite a while and b) they're far and away the coolest mp3 players on the market

hella no, creative labs make some much more badass mp3 players that have much less in the way of limitations.  It's nice to have a player that can handle lossless audio.

I had a creative mp3 player and I'm much happier with my ipod now.  They're more user friendly and they look (way) cooler imo.

The UI on them in all honesty doesn't seem any simpler to me.  I have had and used both the Creative Zen Vision and the 80 GB Ipod and the UI's are rather similar the method of control varies only slightly also.  Plus the Creative Labs one has radio support and voice recording as well as supporting more formats.

Edit: 2000th post.

yay!

I just dont like how Mac comps aren't all that powerful. They just work well because mac software is small in comparison to Windows and Linux/Unix software.

Who told you that Mac are pretty damn powerful and a resource hog ever tried to run mac os x on 512Mb of ram.  Its built on top of unix which makes it pretty damn stable and has just coded pretty damn good so you don't run into many errors and shit.  Macs are usually top of the line and overpriced when it comes to hardware.  If I wanted a mac I would just build my own computer and install the os on it.  You would come out way cheaper and just as powerful.  Linux can run on just about any computer you can think of you can find a linux distribution that will fit on a very limited amount of space.  And as for Windows eh its fair i just don't like microsoft.  A mac is a pretty damn good computer just way overpriced for the hardware.

I should have added your idea cause thats where I was drawing my conclusion from.  You can buy a mac that IS powerful but you end up paying  a sit load of upgrade fees to a point where its not worth it.

I had my last Ipod for 4 years before I accidentally broke the output jack while trying to replace the battery when drunk. I sold it to a friend and he's still using it.

So your theory is pretty much bullshit. Did your mother get raped by Steve Jobs in front of you or something? That's the only thing that could really explain your irrational fear and hatred of Apple products.

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.
