Crest Pro-Health mouthwash kills my taste.

#8685385 - 07/26/08 09:18 PM (18 years, 3 months ago)

It doesn't matter how long after I use the mouthwash I still can hardly taste anything. Anyone else use this stuff and have problems being able to taste their food or drink?

From their website

Why does the Crest Pro-Health Rinse label not contain a taste impairment warning?
The active ingredient in Crest Pro-Health Rinse has been recognized as safe and effective by an FDA advisory panel. The label meets current FDA standards.

The temporary aftertaste, or change in the taste of food, that a small percentage of consumers might experience, typically goes away shortly after product use is stopped

I get bumps on my tongue when using Crest Mouthwash, thus why I have a full bottle of it in my trunk thats been full for almost a year...
I get the same effect from cinnamon chewing gum, I think its a allergic reaction or something.
