got a free piece from the headshop!! pics

i was looking at the local headshop to see if any new bongs got my attention. I was dissapointed - mostly stuff that i call hippie shit - pieces with random colors and swirls. Stuff without a theme. One had flower art inside of marbles but it costs 400. I bought a bigger version of it for 230 a couple years ago so i didnt want to pay more for less.

on my way out i saw the owner looking at a piece in the light and he was looking for a crack on it. i found it and it was light fracture across the bottom, but it didnt leak water. He gave it to me for free!! it works fine and if it cracks all the way through il throw some glue on it.

also i bought some nugs for the first time in years. Sour Diesel! i forgot how nugs are tottally worth the high price. i prefer to smoke out of the metal pipe though. i can pack that up once and it'l last a few days. the water filtered pieces are more of an occasional thing.

so heres a quick photo op of the new addition. and yes, i did get a glass double bubbler for fucking free!!!! hits like a champ.

I love bubblers. The first time I smoked out of one was at a late-night. This kid had a big one he would stash in his waist band......with water in it. They hit so hard and smooth. It's like you get the smoothness of a pipe and the rip of a bong. I bought one in 2001 and still have it.

i used a bubbler as my main piece for years. i passed that piece on to a friend and he uses it now. i prefer them to most bongs because they conserve weed a little better.

bubblers arent that popular though. you pull one out and people say "thats a tiny ass bong." then they try it and they want to buy it off of you.
