I think it's the people I go to shows with. I figured that out halfway through this thread.

I do see your point and in a way I agree w/ you. I try to keep my concert going to about once every two months.

Why would you go in the first place?  Most of the time when I'm going to a concert I'm extremely excited about seeing whatever band it is.

Ya know what, now that I'm thinking about it I have gone to a few concerts just to check out a new band that I haven't seen before.  And if they suck then its annoying as hell. Driving there, buying a ticket, listening patiently in hopes that they're just getting warmed up and about to jump into some tight tasty jams.  I definitely leave the show pretty annoyed, especially if I stayed for an entire set.

Take some MDMA, drop a few hits of liquid on there. Go see a band you think you might like, and dance the fucking night away.

My wife just tried to get me to go to a big concert with a bunch of bands, i was like cool ill go mainly cause she has never been to one. Then i got the flier, it was going to last 11 hrs starting at 1pm and the average temp here out side has been 97-98 degrees. I told her sorry no way im going to stand out there for 11 hrs in that heat.

11 hrs, that's just mind numbing. I saw Pantera, Metallica, White Zombie, Judas Priest and a few other bands during a single concert back quite a few years ago and i was beat by the end and it didn't last 11 hrs.

Not only that the longer concerts are the dumber people get. They get sloppy drunk or partake in to many party favors then start fights, pass out, or get knocked out then have to be hauled off.

Even going to things like Zen Fest about 4 hrs in you got kids dropping like fly's from taking bad pills mixing ghb with beer or what ever else, it can really ruin your trip. Some times i just don't think its worth going.

It's fucking :awesome: dude. I come home sweaty, sun burnt, tick infested, and dirty everyday(the ticks not EVERYday) and it's great.  I'm surprised I have not gotten poison ivy yet I know it's coming.

I sat on my ass for a month and that got old I'm glad to be working making that mighty dollar about to get my check next week so I can finally buy shit like milk, eggs, bread, beef, sausages, drugs, GOOD beer and the likes.
