That's kind of an archaic saying :lol:

I think you extrapolated too much out of my statement.  I just wish that we could have full-length animations like this in the classrooms.  With all the money we're spending on textbooks (which should be gotten for a tenth of their price), we could probably buy Hollywood style productions by these people.  I just think that would be cool (and we might see this down the road perhaps).

I agree but due to budget cuts, I rather settle with good books and properly paid teachers.

I just think it's stupid that we're paying $120 to get the most critically acclaimed, and up-to-date textbooks, when there should be something almost as good in the public domain.  Take 20 subjects and pay 20 guys 100k to write a textbook each year, then print a few million for 20 bucks each.  Money saved: a several billion (?)

The money saved can go to teachers sure.  If the state paid to produce videos of this quality, good teachers wouldn't be quite as necesary :lol: (My mom's a teacher, so I don't need the whole lecture on how teachers chose their job for the public good, blah blah).

I know it's not realistic, just a pipe dream.  Imagine all the stupid kids raised by mtv that could benefit from this.

That is some of the most amazing shit I've ever seen. I recognized the majority of what was taking place in that video and it all fits science pretty damn well. They showed an HIV virus infecting a cell. :awesome:
