First Acid Trip

Whats up - Well it looks like good ol acid has a promising chance of LSD being dropped onto my tongue this weekend. I'll be getting about 7 hits - Im contiplating how much to take I havent asked my friend how strong these hits are but I'll find out tomorrow. Anyways I was wondering how much should I take initially I was thinking two hits but then again Im leaning towards just one so I get a feel for what acid is like and if I really like it or not, also if its a real strong hit.

Anyways I know acid is a very sacred experience - that you have to be ready meaning open minded since you look at life and things in a totally different way. I know its nothing like shrooms, two totally different pyschedelic drugs.

I've read up alot on acid and also read the book - On the Bus mainly which tells the story of how acid was invented by Albert Hoffman and also how it came to be publicized by Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters on their pyschedelic journey "On The Bus".

I'll be working the day before my trip so Im not sure if thats wise but I really need to work(I need the $$).
Im a youngin only 17 years old (being honest here), not some punk kid who does drugs to get totally fucked up. I've never been addicted to any drug but I've done my fair share of substances some im not proud of doing and regret trying but I can safely say I've never developed a problem.

My drug background is Marijuana blown Heroin (stupid thing here i regret it never developed into a problem tho) Ectasy Ketamine Opium and also Ive tripped off mushrooms at least 20 times ~ most ive eaten was 7 grams dry.

Ok so heres my question any advice you can give bad good whatever - preparation Id like to hear it - Ill be tripping with at least 3 other people at my house 2 who will be shrooming. Also is acid and weed a good combo like pot and shrooms because I wanna smoke my bong while tripping..

Since you've taken seven grams of shrooms in the past, you're probably a very experienced tripper. Back in the day, I considered five hits a minimum. This was an intense experience.

Starting off on 2 hits shouldn't be a problem. Every time I've ingested 2 hits (most I've ever done, or even needed to) has been intense enough :grin: And of course you can smoke your bong on the trip. Try smoking on the comedown though, as smoking on the peak might propell you too high and ruin a perfectly good trip. But if you really enjoy smoking on trips, then go for it :smile:

Ok well bro I have tripped over 100 times an have had weak to extremely strong acid my point is that no matter how experienced you are with mushies don't go taking like a 5 strip etc. what i recomend is that if they are supose to be strong then take 1 hit if after an hr. or so your not tripping hard enough eat another. whats weird about acid is that some times its takes awhile to kick in so be careful not to eat alot of it in a short time thinkin its weak etc. because you could easily find your self in a very bizzare egoloss situation. definately have some bud for the come down. although i remember not smokin bud with acid until i had tripped like 10 times, never really had the interest to smoke until that point. peace out!!

*nods* You're right. Most of the time whoever you score the acid off can tell you how much you need for a strong trip. Sometimes they'll warn "don't take more than half", and if they DO say that, listen to them. One of my strongest trips has been off a half tab...weird.

I've dosed very strong acid in the past from microdot, blotter, liquid, and window pane (gel strips.) If this guy can handle seven grams of dry cubensis, he will enjoy half a strip -- five hits. Since I don't know him, I guess I would have to recommend no more and no less than two hits to start with. In my experiences, dosing more after the initial dose has kicked in is more or less a waste of acid.

Thanks for all the info - I've decided to take two hits and save the rest - Does the potency get affected alot with saving them?

I would say wrapping it up in foil, placing that in a ziplock bag (with air removed), and sticking it all in the freezer would be a great way to store it.
