to an extent I agree, but not as much control as you described. on my first acid trip I was able to hold a normal conversation with my dad during the peak for the few minutes he came by to say hi to my friend and I, he never knew. that was on 2 hits. when i encountered my mom on the 3 1/2 hits i knew i couldn't handle myself I was just GONE beyond belief and the concept of coming back didn't occur to me, at any point, so I was just stuck in never-never land while my mom attempted to talk to me. on shrooms i can control myself with extreme ease when it comes time to needing to sober up.
