Mini acid trip

So I've been wanting to try acid/shrooms for some time (and been "preparing" myself for the experience). Shrooms are too hard to get and most of the dealers have no clue what kinda shrooms
they're selling ("do you know if they're p.c.'s?" "uhm, dude, they're shrooms. they work."). So I'll probably get some acid. The problem is that I don't have a place to do it at, except for home, and I can't find a sitter, so I'm wondering if it'd be OK to take 1/2 a blotter in the evening on a friday night when my parents go to sleep, and just hang out in my room and listen to some music?
I know that even tho i'd cut the blotter in 1/2, there still might be like 75 micrograms, which should give me a fullblown trip, so I'm kind of relying on the weakness of the acid available here...
What do you guys think?

Can't you just pick some mushrooms or do you live in a big city or something? No cow paddocks around? Personally, I don't like acid, the experience is too 'chemical'.

acid's fine. it doesn't feel more chemical unless you expect it too.

may as well do the whole tab. Seriously, unless you start having full blown hallucinations (not bloody likely off one tab), you'll be in touch with "reality".

If shit starts getting rough repeat the mantra, "I'm in my room, on acid. Don't go anywhere. It's just the acid."

You're experiencing anticipatory fear which is normal, but I feel pretty safe in saying that you probably won't freak out and have a psychotic episode.

Your idea is a good one. Taking a 1/2 hit is a smart move if you've never tripped before. Your trip will be relatively weak, but you'll get a good idea of what tripping is all about. Once you do 1/2, then you should be ready for the full tab. Have fun!

especially if you are tripping alone in the house with your parents just across the hall, half a tab is a great idea. (paranoia sucks and can ruin even the greatest of trips) but personally, i cant imagine only doing half a tab considering my first cid trip was on two hits. most fun ever in my life, and nothing went wrong (i even ran into my dad while peaking and managed to talk my way through :) !!! ) but dont do more than you feel comfortable with, i cant stress that enough

tomorrow night im shrooming alone in my room with my parents just across the hall asleep, we'll see how that goes :P im gonna do it around 1 in the morning so the possibility of parents is 0 and ill still be semi-tripping when i go to school (after effect trippin)

Take 1/2 tab your first time.....and get some headphones and some pink floyd......you'll never forget taht night...:cool:

If we're talking american acid here, 1/2 a tab won't have near 75mcg. You should be happy if a full tab has that much.

I don't know, I think 1/2 hit trips or even 1 hit trips are a waste of time. You really need 2 hits of american acid to really get a decent trip.

Just take the whole blotter...once you are off you're off. Stacking midway won't make a noticeable difference...

Dude, even 75 micros isnt really gonna make you feel much more than a sort of funny feeling , but it is a good foundation to start with.
