Nice pickings, but you need to learn to pick them clean so they do not looked so raggedy and damaged on the caps.

Here are a few images to show you how clean they can be. As I lift each one and twist it fromt he manure, I then crop off the manure form the stem. This kleeps the shrooms in a better conditi0on then just pulling them up and putting them in a bag or basket.

I always use tupperware to collect specimens and enver seal the top when moving them around and when I use to use a bag, I never crushed a bag of shrooms tightly or shook it around when I carried it in a field. I would act like it was a cup of hot chocolate and not move it around so the chocolate didn/t spill over. Very carefully.

Yeah.. a lot of them were damaged through the ID process.. I checked them over three times.

Hobe Sound is on the east coast of florida, South of Port St. Lucie, North of West Palm, right near the beach boi.

nice job. i was just in cocoa beach over the weekend. i tried to go hunting but didnt have much luck. i hated leaving without a good find. great job and enjoy.
