what kind on shrooms can I find on well manicured lawns in central florida? I know I should look in St. Augistine grass but what kind of mush (active) grow there. I have real problems finding fields that produce now and I used to hear about people finding shrooms in lawns. Any advice?

Try the links listed below. I have found this same mushroom and have bioassayed it as well... It is definitely active! Better ingested fresh - seems to lose much potency with drying.

Pan Casters
Panaeolus castaneifolius
Good luck and happy, safe hunting!

thanks a lot.
can you give some characteristics for them? what about st. augistine grass? Do you have a link to a description. The orlando area should have them too correct? How many for a nice trip? any toxic things in them not in P. cubenisis? you are sure you meant bermuda grass? I though the SW florida boys found them in St Augistine (Sp.. I know). Bermuda grass is the stuff that grows everywhere right?crab grass?
