I need more details. Is this outside or in. If its indoors you may have some problems. If its outdoors, just hose it down and relax. The azurescens should be able to take over once it gets started. The oak chips should be exposed to the air. If you are covering them up with something outside, take it off.

hmmm...also i think that if the bark was used too for shredding than you have a source of very-hard to get rid-off contams...im using now pure woodchips (beech)from the reptile -pet-store for master-spawns...no contams...also i cook it prior to sterilisation...
