basically a dragon chained to a rock, with a pheonix swooping in to kill it

its got a lot of personal meaning to me

i prolly wont end up doing this though, because my goal is to sing in opera, and tattoos arent a very good idea for someone who plans on being a performer

Not at all, to quote Thomas Paine

"SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively by uniting our affections, the latter negatively by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.

Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government, our calamities is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer!"

You know this brings back a funny memory. One of my friends in high school put a countdown ticker on his Myspace page that said "Day's until I blow up the White House".

About a week later he was contacted by the Secret Service, and had a private interview with them. They pretty much killed his Myspace page, did an extensive background check, and gave him a firm warning. Whats funny is that their designated meeting place was a Starbucks in a grocery store. :rofl2:

I dunno, maybe the government is more polite than you think. Or maybe he's been lying to me all these years.  :mad2:
