An old neighbor of mine had one those terrible little helper monkeys that escaped. Me and my friends were out having a bon fire one night and we hear this unnatural sound coming from a bush, so I get close and nearly shit my pants when this little monkey pops his head out (we're in middle of rural Pennsylvania). Anyways, the thing had been living on its own for 2 weeks or something and ended up killing itself by falling off a house.

It was mean but suprisingly not as much as other ones I've handled. It still did the tail whips and it would puff itself up and hiss at you but once I would grab it behind the head and control it for awhile it would settle down and could be held. It was the coolest reptile I ever had but quite the bitch to take care of.

When I was a kid, a seagull broke it's wing during a storm, hit into my window. I brought it inside and nursed it back to health.
