that is how they start out. I guess you can think of the tadpole stage as being the "inside the womb" stage. Then it gets its little legs and is "born" into the world.

Tadpoles are tadpoles, :smile:.

When they lose their tails they all tend to leave the pond at once. We end up with hundreds of little miniatures jumping around the garden around the same time ever year.

I caught a baby frog the other night, it was sitting on my back door.  I thought it was a big wolf spider because it was dark and the angle I saw it at was just right to make it looki like a big wolfie.  It was about the size of a quarter.  :smile:
