How did you raise them? Did you get the eggs from nature?

I like the yellow guy that has a tail

That's awesome, Koods. I like the yellow one. I've never seen one with that coloration. Last year I rescued a bunch of gray tree frog tadpoles from my dad's pool. I didn't raise them though. I just relocated them to a new location.

It wasn't that yellow. I think it just looks like that because of the flash. They're either green or grey colored (they can change between the two)

Yes, I took a clutch of eggs from a pond that was drying up.

A few more pics. There's about a hundred tadpoles in there

That's rad that they turned out to be tree frogs. :awesome:
Of course, you couldn't have known that while they were just tadpoles, could ya?

I know shit like bull frogs will have unique (read: huge) tadpoles and such, but can many frogs be ID'd that young?

I think it was 2009 in Florida when we had non-stop rain for like 25 days. It must have been perfect conditions and timing because there were so many baby frogs after that, that you literally couldn't walk anywhere without killing hundreds of frogs. My yard had like 30 per sq foot. It was wonderful!

I suspected they might be tree frogs since they tend to lay eggs later in the season, but I wasn't sure until today. The tadpoles were so tiny when they hatched - about the same size as a mosquito larva.

Ha, I didn't mean killing them was wonderful. It was wonderful to see nature release so many tiny frogs at once. There was no avoiding them though. I tried tip -toeing around them and it still didn't work
