Hello Shroomery!

So i guess ill start off by telling you guys a little bit about myself, for those people who dont know me, new members, or people i havent really talked with.

I discovered psychedelics sort of haphazardly to tell you the truth, it ended in the hospital with me tripping for 2 solid days on datura, i wont go into to much detail about it cause there is a trip report i mad in the trip reports section that i made a couple years ago. Needless to say after all of the effects had totally worn off(almost a week) i was rather relieved but mostly just amazed and FUCKING HUMBLED. Datura completly ripped apart my world and left me in a terrible state of complete delerium, I promised myself to from that point on respect these chemicals. And if i was going to ingest one to know everything i could about it.


after that i had a couple of mushroom trips nothing to spectacular. Then there was one night when me and a buddy dropped It started off good till my friend started spiraling and ended up having a really bad trip, was CONVINCED he almost died. It scared him away from mushrooms ever since that point, but me i wanted to know WHY he had a bad trip and if he had actually almost died, so i did some googling and found erowid and read and read and read, i was hooked. :lol:

High school came to an end, I dropped E the night of graduation, and it got me thinking about mushrooms again, and i had an epiphony! They are MUSHOOMS they must grow in the wild somewhere(till that point i hadnt even consided WHERE they came from LOL, just what they did to me. So i googled Mushroom hunting and

Enter the shroomery, at first i really only read the main site and the trip reports, eventually i found the boards reged and the rest is documented. I met LOTS of really awesome people, learned lots of great information, and found lots of AWESOME mushrooms. The shroomery has been a daily part of my life for almost 4 years and  I wouldnt change a thing.


Ok now a little bit about me not just my shroomery/psychedlic history, Im a musician, singer, songwriter(Starving of course) my bands name is Mycelium(Our first show will be in the east bay in about two weeks if we can polish of a 45 minutes set before then anybody interested in coming pm me.), I turn 22 in 11 days, i live in The SF bay area with my beautiful girlfriend(Goes by Laska here) and some friends



I think im gonna end this here, I just scrolled up and realized how fucking long and boring that prolly was.

What does "tenure" have to do with anything? I dont understand why so many people are eager to be a moderator anyway. As long as they do a good job, and keep personal feelings out of it I dont care who it is.

Jalruza would have been a bad ass mod though...lol
