My bank suddenly started charging a fee at their ATMs where I've never had a fee before.


What a bunch of cunts.

Don't they realize that since I'm gonna get charged no matter what, I'll purposely go to competitor's ATMs so they don't get their fee?

is it a charge for use of the machine or charge for transactions at the end of the month. i get charged .50 per transactions over so many each month. some atms like at gas stations charge $2 dollars or whatever for use. is that what you are talking about? if a bank atm is charging the is fucked up. id change banks out of spite.

yeah banks suck. thats why i keep my money crumpled up on the floor. or perhaps shoved into a pocket. (not sarcastic, thats what i actually do)

i hate those machines that charge you like £2/$4 to get cash out. It's like you're only getting a 4/5ths of your money if you get 10 out. My flatmate does it all the time. He got radged at me once coz I insisted walking 5 mins to go to a charge free atm. As if i'm going to pay to use my own money!!!! ARRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

don't forget that going to competitors ATM's more than likely ends up with two charges, one at the ATM and another small one by your bank. At least that's what wachovia does, but their atm is free and they are everywhere so it's just a matter of lazyness.

Mine used to charge 1.50 for each use. They canceled the plan when they had to hire another teller at the window to compensate for the new lines :smile:.

Also a month after they called with a telemarketing agency asking If I wanted an unlimited ATM withdrawl plan so I didn't have to pay every time I used the machine. Just one convenient payment of 8.99 a month :grin:.

Go in and talk to them about it. Let them know that you are pissed and seriously considering changing banks over it.

I only get charged for mini statements and using other banks ATM but only one charge of $1.50 for each withdrawal. Mini statement is also $1.50

it's at their ATMs, well Transfund ATMs in general.

ever since I've had an account with them, which is over 11 years now, I've NEVER had an ATM charge as long as I used a Transfund machine.
