can i store mushrooms @ room temp in a baggie? * 1

wondering if it'd be bad to store some mushrooms in a baggie in my room for a week. will a lot of active ingredients be lost?

If they're dried they'd be fine with minimal potency loss.

Do not store fresh mushrooms. They must be dried. Storing fresh mushrooms will just rot from moisture.

If they are dry then, yes you can store em for months in a air tight baggie then in a tupperwear glass jar.

I agree with the above advice, just a word on my friends recent experience. He went on vacation for a week and he had a few mushrooms that were not cracker dry yet and he put them in a baggie. After a week they were full of green mold, he also left a few out on some newspaper and after a week they were fine. So I guess the message is if they are not cracker dry it would be better to leave them exposed to the air that to put them in a baggie.
