I dont plan any long term storage. I just want to store the Tea for 2 or 3 days.

make the tea when you need it if at all possible. you should also eat the mushrooms after you make the tea.

Ok then what is the best way to store mushrooms for 24 to 72 hours without drying them. If you say throw them in a fridge or freezer will a cooler with some ice work well.

well the best way would be to wrap them in a paper towel or paper bag and just leave trhe in you fridge(not cooler or freezer unless you dried them)

p.s do not use a plastic bag.
