Question about storing my shrooms

Hey, i'm new here and I have a question.............. well i guess it's kinda two questions................ the first one is........... I just got a bag of mushrooms about a week and a half ago........... i just kept them in the little baggie they came in............. and threw them in with my buds, I don't know if there is any certain way i should be storing them, and if i'm storing them improperly will it affect the potency of them?

Question 2 is................. i've taken mushrooms 2 times before........... neither time did i really get any effects.......... both time i just felt weird really............. kinda like a different kind of being stoned................ it was definately nowhere near what some friends have told me or what i've read on this site............. i was wondering if there are any reasons why nothing happend? Could it be that the mushrooms were shitty, or could it have something to do with the fact that i smoke pot just about every night? and ok i guess this is question #3.......... is there anything i can do when i eat this new batch of mushrooms to avoid what happend last time........... is smoking bud a good idea if i've never really tripped before? and would it possibly help out the trip?

If anyone could help me out with an answer to one of these questions that would be awesome...............

Ouestion 1- Store shrooms in a cool dry place- like the fridge/freeezer- It is possible for shrooms to last for a good 18 months in the right conditions.Any dark dry place will do for shrooms

Question 2-
If you didn't feel anything, it is possible you didnt eat enough, check the Dose Calculator on this Site
It is also possible your supplier can't grow shrooms, and waited till they were bigger as opposed to stronger, to make a profit, as opposed to getting a better trip.
Also it is a good idea to refrain from eating 2 - 4 hours before injesting.
Also, look into making a Mushroom tea, it reportedly gives you
faster 'come-on' , and a cleaner trip.
