Moe, go up around the Lawrenceville/Liburn area, around the Yellow River and such(Highway 29/Five Forks area). I think you might have a chance of finding them there, but don't count on it. They're elusive lil fuckers.
My goal is to find a weilii patch(on my own) before I die.

Sorry you didn't find what you were looking for, but at least you found some pretty cool mushrooms. It's better than some of my hunts. Some of my hunts consist of finding absolutely nothing! Woo! haha.

Yeah, they've been found around the Yellow River. Try checking different spots with the sandy/loamy soil with moss in/around Lawrenceville, Liburn, and Norcross. If you guys find any, be sure to post pics... And don't tell ANYONE about that spot. Having a weilii patch is like having your own personal platinum or gold mine.

Dude, i'm tellin' you, those weilii's are straight outtaspace.

It is worth the time to look.

Remember, they are growing in your area.
-Probably close and right under your nose,
So don't think you have to travel far to find this fruit.

Also, , they're really hard to spot..they hide and they are dark brown and black caps that seem to hide, especially in the woods, and under leaves and pine needles.
Now, this whole lawn variety of weilii is seemingly a god-send.

Those things are worth the effort to find.

I lived in Marietta for a year Moe... I can say that you wouldnt die picking shrooms in the wooded areas around their. Unless a homeowner shot you....

I'm from sandy springs, 10 min from marietta, the only thing i ever find are cubies and thats when i take a 30 min drive to conyers.
