i saved a rabbit today

so this morning im getting ready for work, and i hear this horrible screaming noise outside and my dog barking. my mom has this fence around the garden so the dogs dont trample her flowers, and the rabbit got back there. my dog must have scared it because it tried to crawl through the fence. it was an adult cottontail, and it tried to fit through a rectangle 2''X3 1/2''. it ended up tangling itself up really good. luckily my dog isnt mean. so i had to go out there with my snips and cut the fence up. other than some bald spots and extreme fright, it appeared to be ok as it ran away as fast as it could. but it made the worst noise ive ever heard.

Rabbits make some fucking creepy noises.

My cat used to catch and bring us live rabbits.

:lol: Reminds me of when my young cat caught a baby bunny. My mom freaked out so much and the noise haunts her to this day. I don't recall if the youngin got away or not...

i ran over a nest of baby rabbits last year. those assholes were lucky they kept their little heads in the hole. they were no bigger than a field mouse at that point. i was going to move them, but then the mom wouldnt be able to find them. i just mowed around them til they were gone.

sweet...i nursed a hummingbird back to health the other day after it smashed into a window...pretty cool little bird...it had green and red iridescent feathers...it was like a little gem with wings...

My buddies and I heard a squirrel being eaten alive by an unknown predator near a beach the last time we were shrooming. That was pretty unsettling.

Yeah man rabbits squeal and growl and make all kinds of weird noises.
I pulled one out of my dog's mouth once, but it never moved again. It died about an hour later, in the same spot I set it down.

Oh fuck, I stumbled upon a youtube video of a rabbit being eaten by a snake and it makes the most horrific screaming sounds you can imagine. For the sake of common decency I probably shouldn't post that here. That sound really fucked with my head. :sad:

no. ive killed many things for no reason. and as i sit there wondering what else there is do to, i get the urge to eat it and/or have sex with it. totally not planned.

My brother once killed a rabbit, with a gun totally planned then had to skin it...I honestly don't think he's shot an animal since!
