Pan Cyans Liquid Cultures

Has anyone attempted to work with Pan cyans liquid cultures? What were your experiences? I'm thinking about trying the Karo tek, but I don't want to waste the spores if it's a crapshoot.
Thanks

I tried it once. It worked once. Obviously YMMV, but I think that liquid fermentation is almost universaly applicable to all of the higher fungi.
That said, I prefer dextrose over karo, but the differences are relatively minimal.

PM me with any cultivation questions.
I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

I would recommend dropping a piece from a pan cyan that you have already grown rather than just squirting multispore syringe into it. The results can be pretty scattered with multispore and LCs. I know the waiting game sucks but it'll be much more productive. You can choose the largest one you've got to 'clone' and then you know you've got good strong fruiting mycelium! Just an idea

I inject Pan cyan. spores into liquid(media) culture vials all the time with inconsistent fruiting, however the cultures have been quite healthy. If the spores are clean than the cultures will also be healthy. I am also curious whether multispore can be implicated with bad fruitings to the extreme that has been. I have found all the larger growers of Pans here to have mixed results while utilizing the same strains again and again. They blame the compost and/or strains. But I haven't found anyone having consistent yields repeatedly. I heard mites the other day (but they have them always). I would love for someone to point me in the right direction, with well-referenced data that clearly demonstrates that complications due to multispore(pans) are "that" detrimental when merely seeking a decent fruiter. It makes sense that this occurs, but I have only read people's accounts, negative and positive. I have read about people achieving enormous harvests from multispore(Pans)...so which is it? I dunno...But would like to.
Oh, I have grown many species of mushrooms but haven't spent much time with pans. Why I might be ignorant.

I would recommend checking post dates before replying. The post you replied to was nearly 6 years old and I'm sure the person figured out the answer to their question by now.

Agar did it again. It's the Jamaican variant, but he did it. Anything is possible.
