"...bit of green in it..."

This is quite normal for Pan Cyan mycelium. The green may  very well be green/blue bruising ...again normal. Do not throw this culture out, give it a 'wait and see'. I've always had bruising issues with these. In the petrie dish, while colonizing substrate AND worst of all, while the pins were maturing, even an indirect misting would cause the pins to blue then die :frown:

hey Blue meanie the cultures off the prints you sent me are always white , like satin white - just like in stamets book and though rhizomorphic very close knit
the subs in contrast are less compact and stain blue when cut or bruised (on agar) the cyans did not
Our local university's new woodchip mulch has been innoculated
and in late autumn im going to make up 20 or so oven bags of spawn and do the whole damn place
mwar ha ha haha a

Naughty! Sounds great! So the mycelium that is satin white, is that the Psilocybe CYanescens or the Australiana?
Anyway, I had another look and its got to be mycelium...Its seems to be white around the edges and whispy, with a blueish tone
