Im a Grease Pirate ;) yarrr

so today, i got in my truck, which had a high speed water pump and a 275 gallon tank in the back of it, i went around to 4 different restaurants and sucked up 120 gallons of waste vegetable oil.

I use this oil in my car instead of running diesel, its not bio-diesel, but what you would call SVO (straight vegetable oil). Its environmentally sound, and the 120 gallons i collected today will save me about $550 in fuel costs.

if anyone wants more info on how to run grease in their cars, please PM me! $4 gas is for suckers :smile: and any diesel vehicle can be converted to run on it!

WHOA!!! I'm intensely interested, although I don't forsee gettin one of these off the ground any time soon, I don't even have a license.

That is a stylin beast! What are the cons of running one of these, does it run pretty good?

And I take it that you filter all that grease out, to get most of the solids out?

well, i got that car for $500 there around, but hard to find.

with a proper kit installed www.greasecar.com you would never know the difference aside from the exhaust smell

how do you obtain the grease?

do you just find grease traps and siphon them or talk to the management about lettin you have it?

I'm trying to find the diesel version of my truck to run biodiesel or like that.

It's hard to find the diesel ones in the states though.
