Vitamins should be obtained through foods that contain them, not out of powders or pills OR SunnyD.

when I was a kid Sunny Delight (as it was properly called) was actually made out of real juice.

I distinctly remember a point in Jr High when everything started tasting like chemicals... Pop, Sunny Delight, Capri Sun, etc...

What truly baffles me is diets that completely cut out a vital food group (like Atkins) or EXPENSIVE pills are all the rage... when the simplest, most cost effective solution is to eat natural, organic, and whole foods.

Sure they may cost more, but you eat less because you're actually getting NOURISHMENT! Everyone needs to realize the reason why portions are so ungodly huge and people are hungry enough to eat those huge portions is because they contain no REAL nutritional value. Just fats and carbs. Ever see an obese person knock out a double quarter pounder super sized meal... then an hour later start munching down on cakes or something? and you think "How can that person possibly be hungry after that?" OR the NUMBER ONE complaint from obese people is they're "Constantly hungry"?

Know why?

Because even though they are obese, their body is malnourished. That's why they're hungry all the time.

/steps off soapbox
