ok, i just did my jars and i followed the MMGG exactly, they're sterilizing right now. but i ended up with a LOT of leftover substrate.. and why does the MMGG tell u to use a more verm than most? the substrate didnt seem that wet either, sorta dampish. is that normal? and what do i do with all the leftover substrate? there is LOTS.

make more jars, if you sterilize them well, they will keep.

My cat likes to experiment he calls this Ziplock Tek he has done 5 seperate batches with no contams. Also the Ziplock Tek colonizes 2wice as fast as the 1/2 pt. jars but he has only used to case, he is going to try and leave one bag to see if it will fruit.

May i ask how were your bags done? Were they sterelized first, or even at all? And how? How did they inject them? And what are you using?

I do this too with the Ziplocks.. I've got some pins, but everything aborted and I never got any decent sized fruits.. but I had zero air exchange and that may have been why (although I think it was a combination of factors, dunno, I'll maybe try it again and not be so lazy and air them a bit)

Sorry for the supersized photos!! The Ziplock Tek is Sterilized BRF with Golden Teacher Malt Myc and I've never seen anything colonize faster, these photos are at 5 days. I think everyone should try this with that little bit that you always have left over in your syringe. I have never tried to use them as cakes always case.

Dude, your photos suck. Not only are they too damned big, they are too poor in quality to be useful. Learn how to take smaller resolution, higher quality pics.
Thanks
