Any good music festivals in NJ or eastern PA this summer?
    #8205210 -

Anyone know of any great festivals this summer in NJ or close by? Perhaps even some awesome concerts? So far I have Cure tickets and plan on getting some Allman bros tickets for their summer show.

Well if you like Radiohead you should get tickets to Friday of All Points West (www.apwfestival.com). It's not the greatest "festival" so much as it is a glorified Radiohead show with two stages and many bands, but the locale is wonderful and fucking RADIOHEAD are playing. Saturday tix are sold out but you can still buy a ticket to see them Friday, or a 3-day ticket if you wanna come on Sunday and see Jack Johnson and a few other bands.

Philadelphia's annual 'Jam on the River' has announced its 2008 lineup. Once again, local electronic rockers, the Disco Biscuits, will return for their 6th year to headline the two-day mini-festival. This year, they'll be balanced out by the Flaming Lips. The event will take place on May 24-25 at Penn's Landing, and includes the following:

Saturday, May 24th:
The Flaming Lips
RJD2
Josh Ritter
Bassnectar

Sunday, May 25th:
The Disco Biscuits
Deadmau5
Avett Brothers
Lotus
Tom Hamilton & American Babies

Jam On The River also incorporates other perfromances in area venues over the weekend (TLA, Electric Factory, etc)
