Only Monday to see Hawtin rock the underground stage at night.

The one time I saw Richie Hawtin doing an integrated DJ/Live PA set, and it was fucking unbelievable. Towards the end, he whipped out a fire extinguisher and discharged it on the crowd. That kinda sucked. I can't imagine what it would be like to be rolling face, and inhale extinguisher powder.

The man was on fyah! He didn't want the crowd to burst into flames, so he did them a service and sprayed their asses with flame retardent.

Yeah, he was. I guess it was for the sake of the whole party.

Thinking about that set makes me seriously consider driving up to this event, just to see Hawtin. Do you have Decks, Effects & 909 II? I like it even more than the first one.
