Most pics, most species, most spores!

I've noticed a few people are interested in more than just our cubensis spores, they are also looking for edibles and rare mushroom spores that are not readily available for those with microscopes or agar plates.

I highly encourage this type of interest in all-things-mycological. There are thousands of mushrooms species, each one with it's own interesting attributes.

Here at the SporeLab, our work has always been centered around the mushrooms of Mt. Elphinstone on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. This includes edibles such as Chanterelles, Matsutake, Boletus species as well as 'magic mushrooms' such as Psilocybe cyanescens and Amanita muscaria. And of course, other interesting fungi such as Tricholoma appium whose North American 'mother patch' is located here on Mt. Elphinstone.

Spores of these and many other species have always been available through the SporeLab but it's not something we've promoted endlessly.
