Covering up holes to help with FAE. Good idea?
    #8202888 -

Hey guys, recently I have had a few problems with my humidifier and fogger setup so I have....

-Plugged up the majority of the holes in my FC (because the lid doesnt sit very tight at all)

-Put a small layer of Perlite on the bottom

-Routed an 80gal fish tank pump into a jug of water with bubble stones, along with a 20gal fish tank pump

-Taped a reptile heater, wrapped in a couple layers of tinfoil, to the bottom of my FC

I am hoping that in an hour or so there will be enough positive pressure in the FC to provide adequate FAE, and that the bubble stones, little bit of perlite, and heater will raise the humidity quite a bit. Will this work; its not a very big FC. I am not going to be able to fan my cakes for up to a week at times, and I am growing cakes at the moment so its not like the conditions have to be exact, I guess....

I do have a humidifier and fogger, but the timers that I bought for them are pieces of shit. Every time the clock rolls around they click on, but the timers cant handle the load and trip so that really isnt an option at the moment either....

Anyways, opinions, suggestions, comments please~.

the steps you've taken should help.

It depends on the bubbler. Those little cheap single small hose ones don't provide that much FAE though.

Any grow that isn't taken care of for more than a week at a time, likely isn't going to do too well.

These guys always need some tlc
