anyone else stressed? i have a question.

between work and college the time in my life passes by without pleasure. anyone else feel the same? like we are going to be slugging it out this way until we die?

i have no tolerance to weed anymore. i knew this week was going to suck. "spring break" from school but 55 hour work week. I bought an 1/8 of mids off my friend for super cheap. Currently 1 joint has lasted me 3 days. I smoke everyday - a little on the way home, listen to classical music and enjoy the ride home. It's my solice.

So now today, im listening to some von williams "the lark ascending" and drifting deeper into joint nirvana when i realized somehting. Is this pot helping me to cope with this temporary work schedule and if i contintued to use it, would it cause me to accept working away my life like this?

im taking advantage of a temporary chance to stock up on cash. but really what else am i giving up to make this money? in the end am i happier? Dont get me wrong - i've been homeless, ive drifted, i've hithiked, my family was once rich, we were once poor. i know the importance of money. But today i realized just how scared i am of ending up like this. the 40 hour work week is a thing of the past. most jobs i've had you have to ask for the weekend off (crazy,no?!) and leaving at 5 is rare. If this is the cadence of life im going to

a) blow my fucking brains out
b) move to a 3rd world country
c) go back to being homeless

this is no way to live, man.

never kill yourself...your existence is a rare chance, you should try to live as long as possible.

are you sure that your not just having a bad week/month?

or have you truly slipped into a long-term depression?

I hear ya dude. You gotta work to live in this society unfortunately. I don't want to be where I am now working all day for the rest of my life. I've been getting the same feeling lately that I'm just getting baked everyday to cope with the work and stress but I know this is not where i'm going to be permanently. I'm working with a purpose in mind.

Well my life may not be as hectic as yours, but I think weed really helps me get things straighted out when I get to stressed.

sounds like you need more time for yourself...Oddly I feel the same way and I have too much free time. If you are being overwhelmed, you need to work less.

I hear you man I have a 2+ hour round trip drive to work on the same 10 mile stretch of highway everyday.  Weed is the only thing that makes traffic bearable.  All this for what?  So I can pay rent?  I've sold my freedom...

there seems to be two types of people when it comes to money. the type that stresses when making it and cant spend/save it correctly. then there's the type that doesn't stress when making it and has no problem when it comes to spending and saving. im definitely the later.

moon_glue, has you ever thought about growing your own weed so that you could save money from buying it. you could also make a little bit of money. growing it though, would require some sacrifice and risk.

that's why im not spending my money on weed right now. im just going to wait it out, get my shit together, grow my own, and live life. at least that's the plan.

Much of the time I'm stressed as shit but I still consider my life happy. If I'm getting shit done and succeeding in what I do then I feel good, even if I'm stressed as well. Don't fear stress, because before you know it you're fearing that fear, and it creates a vicious cycle of discontent. Just keep truckin as they say. It's hippie nonsense but if you can get the hang of it it really does work, I'm speaking from experience here.

I get burnt out everyonce in a while, but it goes away eventually. You find ways to enjoy yourself.

I'd quit smoking before I'd quit my job. Just to see things with a clear head.

I'm trying to balance out the whole work/pleasure thing by looking for a job/career that I really believe in and enjoy.
