in their physical form. I have not purchased a CD in a while and finally got the new Del album. signed





I think I am really going to start supporting my favorite artists again...

Yeah, I can't get into the ipod thing. You need that tangible object to appreciate it more.

I mean I have a massive library and a full 30 gb ipod. A large portion of that was obtained via questionable methods.

I'm not going to change anything except support the few artists I truly love.

Yeah, I usually stop by the House of Music on High Street every week or every other week and grab a CD or two. I still download tons of shit too, but I like buying CDs. I also like the guy that works there.

That the place by 16th that plays music outside all the time? Or is it the place on 12th. I forget names. I need to venture in those places more frequently.

I think I am going to buy  Deltron 3030 since it was reissued. :yesnod:
and Dr. Oct if I can find it.

Yeah, the place by 16th with the speaker outside. They have a good collection of shit, and a lot of good posters too.

I need some posters but they always are expensive. I'd rather buy a CD for what a poster costs. My room is barren though.


Hiero news that I found by being tweaked and bored last night.

  • Apparently Del pretty much has his next album done. So yea.
  • The new Deltron is going to be based on Koalas+Dan's own visions as opposed to 3030 when the 'theme' of the album was created by Del. Though the futuristic theme will remain in the new one.
  • The new Hieroglyphics album is on way as well. Opio did most of the beats on it.

Yea i would totally buy Vinyl if I had a turntable HERE. I have one back at home(well pops does) I am sure I could snag it but I don't have a receiver or speakers really.

I'm tempted to buy vinyl for nostalgic value as well as keeping vinyl alive. Vinyl is supreme.

I just find CDs to be a waste because they are digital format which can just be stolen from the internet.

Plus vinyl sounds really good anyway, and they are way more collectible then a CD. I download music constantly but that is usually just how I fill up the pod and find new music. If I really want to support the artist and I have money to spare I try to get their album on wax.

And there's some pretty cheap tables if you dont have one, you can get a lower end model like a Stanton T50 or a cheap Numark for under a hundred dollars on the web if you are just looking for a good turntable to listen to records on without all the bells and whistles.

That is a pretty tight site.

I actually just pre-ordered Atmosphere's new album.  Deluxe edition for $20 including shipping. :shrug:

I'm debating whether to buy as well.

God damn I never knew how much shit I want to buy. Fuck. I can't afford this.
