I can't go without throwing in my appreciation of having Shroomism around as well...

Maybe I should compose a bass epic entitled Shroomism, in tribute or something.. :grin:

All I can say is that I can't fucking wait to hear Skultamaphon's album. Frogman of the Sand is great, I really like the lyrics, too... ("another branch of energyyy... is tamed." can't get better than fucking that! :grin:

I'm not sure... we were supposed to go in November.. but I haven't heard back from the studio yet. At either rate... we have to record Frogman by 11/11 for the Shroomery compilation CD. Good times.

Myself, I have only been in the studio on two different occasions, but it wasn't for my own music (at least my drummer and guitar were there, too). There was this crazy old guy who had all these songs about when he went down to Jamaica and stuff, and he had us go in and record.. I didn't mind because of the experience and how fucking cool the studio was.

The music was like suspossed to be like classic rock/reggae, but he sucked as a singer. The music sounded really cool, though, before we added his vocals. :grin:

For a taste of how strange the music was, the first one we did was The Bootsman, and it went something like this "I'm the Bootsman, I'm the Bootsman! I bring the boots from Amer-i-ca! Many times, many flights, many sizes and styles, I make them happy when I bring down the boots!"

If I can get my parents to take the cd I have at home and copy it on the computer and send it to me, I will let everyone here listen in...
