ouuuuuuuuuuuch... i feel like poop in a blender

went out again last night.  3rd night drinking in a row.  and last night was with an old work friend who can really handle his alcohol.  i, on the other hand, turned out to be a bitch.

i forgot to eat decently yesterday, so i went out heavy drinking with only a bit of cous cous and quinoa in my belly.  and by a bit, i mean maybe 4 oz worth of food, if even.  i made it through the barhopping like a pro.  no problems there.  we hung out at his place afterwards, and that's where the night caught up to me.  after just chilling for like 30 minutes, i'm starting to think "ahhh fuck..." because i just know it's going to come.  i can feel the alcohol poisoning my body more and more.

sure enough, i end up puking my brains out.  actually passed out over the toilet for an hour or so.  real classy :crazy:

i woke up at 2pm today still drunk.  you ever notice how the hangover doesn't hit you until a little while after you've been awake?  it definitely did that to me.  i felt alright when i woke up.  a little drunk still, but alright.  fast forward 30 minutes and i'm barely able to walk.  my head is POUNDING.  i went by the grocery store, picked up a mini loaf of multi-grain bread and a vitamin water: revive.  i'm not feeling very revived.

blegh.  :argh:

i think i'm done drinking for a couple of weeks.

lesson learned dude, all things in moderation. if you're going to binge do it with weed :bongload:

people like you make me laugh my ass off on weekends at work - everyone's bitching about their hangover and I'm happy as a hummingbird and high as a kite

i don't usually get hangovers, even if i puke the night before. the lesson i learned was eat a real fucking meal before going out on the town. blargh.

besides, i love weed. i smoke plenty of weed. but weed and alcohol are two very different buzzes, and alcohol makes me wayyyyyy more social, which is cool. so i'm not going to stop getting drunk.

that's definitely true I'm not half as social with weed as I am with alcohol - I'm not sayin quit drinkin. But yeah you definitely got the right thing out of the experience - don't drink on an empty stomach, because dry heaving fucking sucks - and on top of that I personally can't drink worth a shit without some food in me to balance it out

i'm trying to force down water. keep my mind off of how absolutely shitty i feel by reading some.

Water + laying in bed without bright lights helps. Waking up drunk is better then just waking up hungover IMO

laying down actually makes me feel dizzier. i'm sitting up with a trashcan at my feet.

this fucking sucks though because my brother in law is coming by to give me a lift to get a new battery for my car. i reeeeeaaaaally don't feel like doing this, but i have to take care of it while he's up in my area. fuck i hope i don't vomit in his truck.

i did a binge this saturday.... it sucked. my hang over remedy:

1 alcaseltzer
1 rehydration sachet (they dont sell these for some reason in the US, so just add a bit of salt to water)
1 banana
1 multivitamin
food (if scale 1-6 hangover, filling food with bread, if its a level 6 -10 which means sickness, i eat a lot of sushi)

and as hard as it is to do....
1 beer

oh and its too late for you, but the night of, right before i go to bed, i also eat an alcaseltzer). hang in there.

If you drink a glass or two of water before you go to bed after a night of drinking it helps IMMENSELY with hangovers. I tell people this all the time and the usual response is, "Fuck, after a night of drinking I'm not thinking about drinking water." Well, maybe ya should. I don't really get hang overs, because unless I've just straight passed out, I will always slam a couple glasses of water before stumbling into bed.

Greasy breakfast with eggs n bacon, coffee, water, and OJ. Best way to feel great after a night of heavy drinking.

well i don't have any alcaseltzer.

but i did drink a vitamin water: revive, which has a fair amount of potassium (350 mg) and plenty of vitamin C and B (3, 5, 6, 12)

the only beer i have right now is some skunked PBR. and i really can't drink one of those right now.

I would assume poop in a blender would feel pretty good. Smooth, creamy. Slight bit of froth, maybe, right after it's done blending.

I know how that goes, it fucking sucks. But it gets better.

I really can't fathom how people can drink alcohol when they are hungover. It's the last thing I want.

fuck, that was a trying ordeal.

riding in a car in my current condition was not fun. the whole time i was focusing on not puking. breathing deep, getting fresh air from the window, mutilating my bank receipt for stress relief.

of course there was mad traffic too. too much fucking stop'n'go traffic. however, while i was at wally world getting the battery, i also picked up some powerade and alkaseltzer. i'm starting to feel a bit better. really hungry, but still weary of putting anything in my belly.

now i've got to clean up my apartment because my landlord is showing it off tomorrow. damnit. i hate doing dishes.

Did you drink a variety of alcohols? I feel like I don't get hangovers if I drink ONLY stoli vodka or some other decent hard liquor. If I mix beers with wines with hard stuff I feel shitty the next day.

yeah, i mixed. started with a glass of syrah. then my main drink of the night was gin and tonic, but the gin varied from place to place and ranged the spectrum from well to bombay sapphire. while i was drinking the gin and tonics, i would intermittently take shots (couple jagerbombs, a shot of straight jager, a royal flush, and a soco pineapple). finished the night off with half a beer, before i started vomiting.
