few things feel better...

...than when i step onto the field...cleats on my feet, and disc in my hand.

few things feel better than breaking away from my defender, and digging deep for all the speed i can muster...i fly down the feild, looking back over my shoulder as the disc leaves the handler's grip...levelling out into the perfect throw.

few things feel better than when my feet leave the ground - my body going horizontal - as i stretch to my very limits, reaching with all i have before crashing to the ground.

few things feel better than laying there for a moment. catching my breath, before i hold that disc up in the air, and hear the cheers of mt teammates.

few things feel better than Ultimate.

of course!

sometimes when we practice in the summer i like to play barefoot, but at tournaments and such cleats are a must.

hahaha, def adrenaline, not much fear. most of the time there is an awesome vibe. of course there is a strong desire to win, but everyone who is out there loves to play. its all self-officiated, and its just feels good to be immersed in ultimate for a weekend, and abuse your body in the name of a killer grab.

i screwed up my shoulder today, for instance, on a SWEEEET layout, and got the disc. who cares. i made the play :smile:. my shoulder will be better in the morning :thumbup: (i hope)

I never had a fear of getting caught... I could handle a mile on road 4:28, and hold it for another half mile... I could take a fairly fast pace for a good 5 miles... I bounce off rocks like a billy goat...

now I might make it a mile in an hour if really push it...

I doubt it.... I'm still fast on the sprint... I smoke 2 packs a day and still beat most in the first 100 yards....
