Pickled Ginger is the Shit

I love pickled ginger.
I first tasted this lovely deliciousness as a 'palate cleanser' served with sushi...
I fell in love only after a few tastes.
Now I buy several jars at a time, and eat about 1/4 to 1/3 a jar a day. It supposed to have antiviral/antibacterial properties, and I must say I haven't gotten sick since I've started wolfing it down a couple months ago.
Normally I'm sick every couple of weeks in the winter, but not this time...
It helps when I feel nauseous too, gets rid of it right away.
It even helps my mood- if i scarf down a couple pieces when I'm bummed, a little later I feel right as rain.
And the taste- it tastes so friggin wonderful to me...
Oh pickled ginger, let me count the ways I love thee...

I agree. I eat it to cleanse the pallete. I wouldnt be able to just eat it any time. I love ginger ale though:smirk:

You guys have to try Reed's Extra Strong Ginger Brew, its the best ginger product I've ever tasted! They have it at organic healthy food type stores.

i eat it all the time as well my friend! is delicious.

and it is very very good for your digestive tract. not to mention it is a good immune system booster.
